Monday
Slow & Soothe
with Elly @ 6-7PM

This evening session invites a gentle movement of energy from the head down to the heart, from thinking to feeling. In this practice, you are invited to move slowly and with curiosity, being led by the sensations of your body and the intuition of your feeling self. It’s open to all and no experience is necessary. Everything is invitational and a space for you to cultivate self-compassion, curiosity and agency to your body and yourself.

Collar & Elbow
with Nathan @ 8-9PM

Collar and Elbow (in Irish “Coiléar agus Uille” or “Brollaidheacht”) is the national wrestling style of Ireland. Historically it has also been practiced in regions all over the world with large Irish diaspora populations. It is characterised by the fixed grips that wrestlers are required to take on their opponents’ jackets, and by its focus on leg techniques such as trips, footsweeps, and hip throws.

Hatha Flow
with Allan @ 6-7PM

Hatha Flow is a fusion of a Hatha and Vinyasa class. Building a flow slowly with steady momentum and breath. A full body and mind work out through rhythmic and safe transitions between grounding and balancing postures suitable for all levels.

Bata
with Nathan @ 8:30-9:30PM

Bataireacht, or Irish stick fighting is a traditional form of martial art which has been passed on for generations. Antrim Bata and the Doyle Style are the two surviving styles that we teach. We are also one of the only schools in the world to offer both. Bataireacht was very popular in Ireland and even abroad for centuries, but nearly disappeared during the 1900s. There are now only a handful of traditional styles left which are enjoying a Renaissance. Come discover what it’s all about!

Hatha Flow

Movement Research
with Aoibhinn @ 7:30-9PM

Improvisation techniques are used to loosen and ground the body. Focusing on time, breath and weight, a meditative process to get into the body, it offers creative tools focusing on visualisation, texture and intuition. This class is designed for participants to feel grounded while finding fluidity, efficiency and awareness in their own movement quality.

Thursday
Somatic Practice
with Aoibhinn @ 10-11AM

This class is a process of discovery and rediscovery. For those interested in improving their everyday function and health, finding ease in one’s own movement. Using exercises influenced by Feldinkrais and Klein Technique, we go deep into the body. These exercises are known to improve posture, flexibility, balance, coordination and releasing stress.
